New Possibilities

I have gone up to Canada a few times before, but I’ve always just rented a cabin with my family. The fishing is great and it’s fun to get away from work for awhile, but I was looking to try something different this time. I really wanted to see the country instead of holing up in one place, so I looked up some Canada tour packages online. There are several interesting ways to explore Canada, but in the end I decided to try a bus tour. Canada coach tours offer a lot of versatility because you can choose from a variety of departure points and destinations. Plus, a tour bus can stop at any place along the route that you might want to investigate more closely. I ended up going to the city of Calgary, AB. The city is surprisingly large, with over a million people, and is known for its resorts, festivals, and winter sports. While I was there, I was able to catch the Calgary Stampede, where my family ate some pancakes and watched a rodeo. It’s a very lively city that certainly gave me a different experience than the old fishing cabin. Calgary is also right by the Banff National Park, so in the winter I’m sure it’s the perfect place to launch a Banff ski vacation. This summer I learned that a bus tour is a great way to switch up the routine and actually explore Canada.
