Shredding Scissors!

The other day, my husband and I were looking through a catalog of gadgets, and I saw something I hadn’t seen before — shredding scissors!
I absolutely love this idea. Although we have two good home paper shredders, we don’t really have room to keep them in the office, so they’re both down in the basement. Because we don’t go down there that often, we make a pile of the stuff we need to shred, and only when the pile gets out of hand do we take it downstairs and run it through a paper shredder.
A pair of shredding scissors, on the other hand, can be stored in a desk drawer or in the junk drawer in the kitchen. That way if we get junk mail, it’s super easy to just whip out the shredding scissors and get rid of it. The scissors also can cut through a credit card, which makes it fast and easy to destroy your credit cards.
Of course, as cool as the idea of shredding scissors is, they are really only for someone who only occasionally needs to shred something…or who, like me, is too lazy to go to the shredder, turn it on, and shred the documents. If you shred a lot of documents every day, you should probably opt instead to browse the many industrial shredders available on the market.
